I've seen some tabs of this song floating around out there that are in Drop
D tuning. However, IMHO, playing it in standard tuning sounds far better.
 
And, of course, listen to the CD to get the correct timings!

It sounds better because it's correct. The whole first album is in standard E. Stephen didn't start playing with turnings until "Around The Fur".
