Dermot Kennedy - Kiss Me

[Intro]
C G Am

[Verse 1]
                   C
If I could take a photo
                 G
Eternalize this moment
         Am
For the days when I don't believe
                     C
When our love gets stolen
              G
This is no exception
            Am
And I know time will take you far from me

[Pre-Chorus]
                  C
Let this night invade my lungs
        G Am F
You're all I wanna breathe
                  C G
Right beside the lake I burn for you
             Am F
You burn for me

[Chorus]
N.C. C
So kiss me the way
           G
That you would
         Am F
If we died tonight
             C
Hold me the way
           G
That you would
          Am F
For the final time

               C G
Whatever may come, somewhere deep inside
                     Am F
There's always this version of you and I
                     C
So just kiss me the way
           G
That you would
         Am F
If we died tonight, if we died tonight

[Verse 2]
                 C G
All the deepest secrets, all the darkest moments
        Am
Oh, I promise they'll be safe with me
                 C
We've all been broken
              G
There's no exception
         Am
But you carry it so gracefully

[Pre-Chorus]
                  C
Let this night invade my lungs
        G Am F
You're all I want to breathe
                  C G
Right beside the lake I burn for you
             Am F
You burn for me

[Chorus]
N.C. C
So kiss me the way
           G
That you would
         Am F
If we died tonight
             C
Hold me the way
           G
That you would
          Am F
For the final time

              C G
Whatever may come, somewhere deep inside
                     Am F
There's always this version of you and I
                     C
So just kiss me the way
           G
That you would
         Am F
If we died tonight, if we died tonight, yeah

[Interlude]
C G Am F x2

[Bridge]
              C
So I let this night in my lungs
       G Am F
You're all that I wanna breathe
                  C
Right beside you, down at the lake
  G
I burn for you
             Am F
You burn for me

[Chorus]
N.C. C
So kiss me the way
           G
That you would
         Am F
If we died tonight
             C
Hold me the way
           G
That you would
          Am F
For the final time

              C G
Whatever may come, somewhere deep inside
                     Am F
There's always this version of you and I
                     C
So just kiss me the way
           G
That you would
         Am F
If we died tonight, if we died tonight, yeah

*Capo 1* for those looking to play it in the same key (Db/D flat?) as Dermot’s “Sonder Street Sessions - Boston” performance. The capo is on the 3rd fret I’m the video, but he often plays with his guitar tuned a full step down (DGCFAD). So, if your guitar is in standard tuning, you’ll want to capo it on the 1st fret, and then play the chords listed.

Guys, I watched the sonder busking session video he did in Chicago and created the tab by quickly looking at what he was playing. If you don't think a chord belongs or that the tab is incorrect, please create your own tab for us all to enjoy.

Listening to the bass line, it sounds like the F doesn't appear until the "pre-chorus" section. I don't hear the Fm at all.
