Here are the guitar chords for Top of the World.
The other tab is totally correct but if you're a guy you'll find this song pretty high to sing.
With the chords like this there is a lot more room to shift the capo down.
I like playing it with the capo on 3 or 5, but the original song is capo 7.

[ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/d/dixie-chicks/130004.html ]

Tuning: Standard - Capo 7

                 A E
I wished I was smarter, I wished I was stronger.
                F#m D
I wished I love Jesus, the way my wife does.
                      A E
I wished it had been easier, instead of any longer.
                       F#m
I wished I could have stood
                          D
Where you would have been proud,
                   A
That won't happen now
                   E
That won't happen now.

Chorus:

          D E
There's a whole lot of singing that's never gonna be heard,
     F#m D A
Disappearing everyday without so much as a word somehow.
D E
Think I broke the wings off that little song bird,
      F#m D A
She's never gonna fly to the top of the world right now.
          E
Top of the world.

               A E
I don't have to answer any of these questions.
            F#m D
Don't have no God to teach me no lessons.
                    A E
I come home in the evening, sit in my chair.
                              F#m
One night they called me for supper
                D
But I never got up,
              A E
I stayed right there in my chair.

          D E
There's a whole lot of singing that's never gonna be heard
     F#m D A
Disappearing everyday without so much as a word somehow.
D E
Think I broke the wings off that little song bird,
      F#m D A
She's never gonna fly to the top of the world right now.

                 A E
I wished I'd a known you, wished I'd a shown you,
          F#m D
All of the things I was on the inside.
                     A E
I'd pretend to be sleeping, when you come in in the morning
                F#m D
To whisper good-bye, go to work in the rain.
               A E
I don't know why, don't know why.

      D E
Cause everyone's singing, we just wanna be heard.
    F#m D A
Disappearing every day without so much as a word somehow.
D E
Wanna grab a hold of that little song bird,
 F#m D A
Take her for a ride to the top of the world right now.

F#m D x4

  F#m D
Whoa. Whoa.

                   F#m
To the top of the world.
                    D x4
To the top of the world.

F#m D repeat to end

Why capo on 7? Seems pretty high up the fretboard. I would transpose +3 and capo on 2 like the other version, but yours seems more accurate.
