The F* is arpeggiated with an emphasis on the open e string. 
The easiest way to play the F chord is to use your thumb on 
the low E string and use your 1st, 2nd and 3rd fingers for 
the others so you can keep the high e open.

As far as I can tell, the chords in the chorus are played 
this way with only the D,G and B strings being strummed.  
It just doesn't sound quite right to me when all the strings 
are strummed but play what sounds best to you.

Great job. I do have one suggestion though.

I think the 4th line of each verse ends in a C instead of the F. That would allow for a better transition into the F - C - G

Here is an example:
C C/B Am Am/G C <--- That C right there.
