Thsnks Sian-Og for posting this- I love this song and been meaning to dust off the guitar to play it myself (although I wish I could sing!!) :) I would just change the D on last line of first bit of V1 to a G and THEN go to D before going into the next bit of V1.
Also, in chorus, change the Em to an E, which just gives it that little bit of extra mournfulnesss! :-D
I'm just working on a strumming pattern now - not my strength. I like how in the recording V2 takes on a kinda flamenco feel.
