Dno what some people are talking about. EODM never use standard. It's all about open G. You can transpose the songs to standard, theyre just slightly more difficult, and don't sound as chunky.

using this tab u can play it with a capo on thrid... just use the E shape bar rather than A

the reason you can play this open is because they use a funny tuning. Its something like: e| B| G| D| G| G| i read this in a interview called Jesse Hughes: living in the shadow of josh homme. its on ug somewhere...basically you can make a power chord and play a bassline with only one finger, or none. read it for more info.
