LYIN’ EYES: EAGLES (Don Henley & Glen Frey)
4/4 – 134 bpm
Usually with fingerpicking patterns you go from bass notes to the higher strings.
The Eagles play their patterns the other way around.
Try to start your fingerpicking at the high e-string.
You'll notice that the e-string notes are similar to the melody.
Before you know it the magic Eagles sound arises from your guitar.

I agree with the G7 instead of a G9, so I will correct that. The A string in the Gmaj7, B-tone, does NOT have to be played muted.

G9 is correct in the chorus. The subtle nuance makes a difference.
