---0---0---0----6---6---6-------------|
-2---2---2----------------------------|
--------------0---0---0---------------|
--------------------------------------|

Elliott begins the verse as he picks the 2nd half of this:
--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8--------------|
---5---5---5--------------------------|
----------------5---5---5-------------|
-3---3---3----5---5---5---------------|
--------------------------------------|

Verse:

"...well I pictured somebody else..."
--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--3-3-3-3-3-3------------|
---0---0---0----6---6---6-------------|
-2---2---2----------------------------|
--------------0---0---0---------------|
--------------------------------------|

--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8--------------|
---5---5---5--------------------------|
----------------5---5---5-------------|
-3---3---3----5---5---5---------------|
--------------------------------------|

"...got in you and ripped out the seams..."
--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8-8------------|
---0---0---0----6---6---6-------------|
-2---2---2----------------------------|
--------------0---0---0---------------|
--------------------------------------|

--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8--------------|
---5---5---5--------------------------|
----------------5---5---5-------------|
-3---3---3----5---5---5---------------|
--------------------------------------|

Bridge:

---------------------------------------|
-8-8-3-3-2-2---------------------------|
-5-5-0-0-2-2---and then something------|
-5-5-2-2-2-2---------------------------|you'll have to ask
-5-5-0-0-0-0---------------------------|Elliott how to play...
---------------------------------------|

(1:41)"...he was a sucker"
--------------------------------------|
--8-8-8-8-8---------------------------|
--------------------------------------|
---5---5---5--------------------------|
-5---5---5----------------------------|
--------------------------------------|

...which brings you back to the verse pattern again:

--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--3-3-3-3-3-3------------|
---0---0---0----6---6---6-------------|
-2---2---2----------------------------|
--------------0---0---0---------------|
--------------------------------------|

--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8--------------|
---5---5---5--------------------------|
----------------5---5---5-------------|
-3---3---3----5---5---5---------------|
--------------------------------------|

"with a broken sink for a face":
--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8-8------------|
---0---0---0----6---6---6-------------|
-2---2---2----------------------------|
--------------0---0---0---------------|
--------------------------------------|

--------------------------------------|
--3-3-3-3-3-3--8-8-8-8-8--------------|
---5---5---5--------------------------|
----------------5---5---5-------------|
-3---3---3----5---5---5---------------|
--------------------------------------|

Bridge II is something like this:
(2:19) "...its already half past"
--------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------|
-4-4-4-4------------------------------|
-5-5-4-4-7-7-3-3----------------------|
-5-5-2-2-7-7-3-3----------------------|
-3-3-2-2-5-5-1-1----------------------|

(2:31) Play the intro and verse progression
again as if the song were starting over.
No more surprises.
