     G      D      C  G/B     C        D     G
Down by the salley gardens my love and I did meet;
    G          Bm7    C  G/B       C      D          G
She passed the salley gardens with little snow-white feet.
    Em     C         Bm           C           D      G
She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree;
    G        Bm7       C  G/B        C         D    G
But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree.

(Interlude same as Intro)

     G     D      C G/B    C        D     G
In a field by the river my love and I did stand,
    G     D       C    G/B     C        D          G
And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand.
    Em     C         Bm           C           D      G
She bid me take life easy, as the grass grows on the weirs;
    G     Bm7       C  G/B       C      D       G
But I was young and foolish, and now am full of tears.

Thanks for posting! It's a lovely poem by Yeats and this arrangement is simple and pleasing.

Seems about right, needed to work out a couple of chords as a bit of an amatur. Good pitch for my voice and hey learning to play more chords so thanks.
