Subject: CRD: Hickory WInds Emmylou Harris Chords/Lyrics

Emmylou Harris Hickory Winds written by Gram Parsons
                                             Bob Buchanon

   F C Bb F
In South Carolina there are many tall pines
               C Bb C
I remember the oak tree that we use to climb
                     Bb C F
But it makes me feel better each time it begins
           Bb C F
Calling me home Hickory Winds
F C Bb F
I started out younger at most everything
F C Bb C
All the riches and pleasures what else could life bring
                 Bb C F
But now that I'm lonesome I always pretend
                     Bb C F
That I'm getting the feel of Hickory Winds
F C Bb F
It's a hard way to find out that trouble is real
              C Bb C
In a far away city with a far away feel
                     Bb C F
But it makes me feel better each time it begins
           Bb C F
Calling me home Hickory Winds

My brother and I just played this song for the first time. We love the song, and thought the tablature was terrific - very easy - made us sound good! Thank you - more uke tabs!
