The Last Waltz:Engelbert Humperdinck.
#1 in UK and #25 in USA in 1967.

INTRO: G F#m Em7 A D

#1.
G F#m
I wondered should I go or should I stay..
    Em7 A D
the band had only one more song to play.
    G F#m
And then I saw you out the corner of my eyes,
  Em7 A D
a little girl alone and so shy.

CHORUS:
A D F#m G Em7 A G D
I had the last waltz with you.....two lonely people together.
D7 G Em A A7 D
I fell in love with you..the last waltz should last forever.

#2.
G F#m
Thought the love we had was going strong..
G A D
through the good and bad we'd get along.
    G Gb Gbm
And then the flame of love died in your eyes..
   Em G A D
my heart was broke in two when you said goodbye.

CHORUS:
Bm Dbm D G Em7 A D
I had the last waltz with you.....two lonely people together,
D7 G Em A A7 Dbm D
I fell in love with you..the last waltz should last for..ever.

#3.
         G Gm7
It's all over now, nothing left to say,
        D Bm Em A
just my tears and the orchestra play..ing.
B Bm E Gbm
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la...
Em A D
la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.

OUTRO:
Bm Dbm D G Em7 A D
I had the last waltz with you.....two lonely people together.
D7 G Em A A7 Dbm D
I fell in love with you..the last waltz should last for..ever.
Bm E
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la..(Fade.)

A sixties smash from Kraziekhat.

Very nicely done, but in key of 'G' shouldn't those 'flat' chords be written in as the equivalent 'sharps'?

Gbm and Dbm should be F#m and C#m etc.?

Probably just an artifact of someone transposing the key.
