Riding with the King - Eric Clapton & B.B. King

[Intro] A7, B7

[Verse 1]
B7
I dreamed I did a good job and I got well paid
                           E7
Blew it all at the penny arcade
B7
A hundred dollars on a kewpie doll
                                        E7
I guess no white chick is gonna make me crawl

[Chorus 1]
G7 F7
On a TWA, to the promised land
E7
Every woman, child and man
G7
Gets a cadillac and a diamond ring
A7 B7 E7 A7
Dont you know we're riding with the king?

[Verse 2]
B7
Hes on a mission of mercy to the new frontier
                                 E7
Hes gonna check us all on out of here
B7
Up to that mansion on a hill
                                       E7
Where you can get your prescription filled

[Chorus 2]
G7 F7 E7
On a TWA to the promised land
E7
Everybody come on and clap your hands
G7
Dont you just love the way he sings
A7 B7 E7 A7
Dont you know we're riding with the king?

[Bridge]
D7 B7
A red cape and shiny cold 45
D7 B7
I never saw his face but I saw the light
G7
Tonight everybody's getting their angel wings
A7 B7
Dont you know we're riding with the king?
B7 E7
Well I stepped out of a mirror at ten years old
                             A7
With a suit cut sharp, as a razor and a heart of gold
B7
I had a guitar hanging just about waist high
E7 A7
I'm gonna play that thing until the day I die

Man, you should really overlook the lyrics again. There is a difference between a red cape and a tuxedo. So there is a difference between a mirror and the Missisipi. :-) So please check that. Apart from that you could have written the roots after the turnaround for example in after the first vers there is of course a whole bar of B7.

these lyrics are exactly correct. Just the way John Hiatt wrote them
