edit: some people have been saying the D isn't right. I guarantee you the chord is D, patrick is singing B
over it to harmonize.

I have a bachelor and master's degree in music composition and music theory. It's a D. The confusion, like the author of the tabs says, is because there's a B in the melody. Does it have the notes of a Bm7? Sure. But the overwhelming influence is from the guitars which are both playing NOTHING but D (providing bass and most of the harmony. The only B ANYWHERE is on the top of the harmony in the melody. Calling it a Bm7 is like having an ice cream sunday with 3 huge scoops of vanilla ice cream with a tiny chocolate chip on top and calling it a chocolate sunday. If you still incorrectly think it's a Bm7 because you are trying to prove your theory skills, you forgot about the "E" the singer also sings on the first syllable of "centuries." (He even occasionally goes back down to A briefly after the B). It's a D.

All of the d's at the end of each paragraph are actually supposed to be Bm Otherwise, this is the best version out there. Hope this helped!!!
