It's the same chords as the original song, for sure. It might just sound jazzier to you playing it acoustically because you're hearing the chords clean without effects and some in different voicings than how the band plays them. If you listen carefully during the studio recording, you'll hear the same exact chords as above: a big mix of sus chords, major 7s, chords with dissonant roots, and power chords.

Is this the jazzy version of Everlong?

Really having trouble with the instrumental section. None of the chord voicings seem to make sense to me. Is there a video tutorial somewhere?
