I love this song and this is the version I have been looking for, to play acoustically, I love it, the tension in the chords is awesome.

I feel like the rift is wrong, but the rest is ok.

I really like the open chords in this version. One thing that I've tried and think works well is tuning the lower string to d and then putting the capo on the second fret of the top 5 strings. That way you get the bass sound of the drop d but can still play the open C Maj 7. It also then really helps in the ascending notes of the chorus as you can keep the drop d ringing.
