Artist: Frank Sinatra
Song: Summer Wind

[Verse 1]
 C
The summer wind, came blowin' in
      Dm
From across the sea
                                         C
It lingered there to touch your hair and walk with me
C
All summer long we sang a song
            F Dm
And then we strolled that golden sand
    C Dm G C
Two sweethearts and the summer wind

[Verse 2]
 C
Like painted kites, those days and nights,
          Dm
They went flyin' by
                                   C
The world was new beneath a blue umbrella sky
C
Then softer than a piper man
    F Dm
One day it called to you
  C Dm G C
I lost you, I lost you to the summer wind

[Verse 3]
D
The autumn wind and the winter winds,
          Em
They have come and gone
                                               D
And still the days, those lonely days, they go on and on
 D
And guess who sighs his lullabies
        G Em
Through nights that never end
   D Em A D
My fickle friend, the summer wind

[Ending]
Em A D
           The summer wind
          Warm summer wind
Mmm, the summer wind

Lack of accuracy. Entirely wrong key, pattern is basically correct but omits most of the progression, hitting only root chords, uses a minor chord where no minor occurs and doesn't even bother addressing the intro.

This simplified version of an American classic is perfect for most of the people who use this site. Amateur guitar pLayers who just want some chords they can play and accurate lyrics. These songs were written for keyboards and wind instruments.
