This tab (I believe) fills in gaps the other tab had, correcting a few things and
also adding the solo and outro tabs. This is a great song and really fun to play. Enjoy!

He does this interesting thing with the intro.
It starts as a G chord then you play a different chord with each up and down stroke.
Here it is.

Intro: G** x4

G** G**
From the heart of the southern downs
       C C* Am D G**
To the northeast London reservoirs
         G** G**
From the start that landscaped my sound
           C C* Am D G**
before I'd ever been to America

         C D G G+ C
And if I knew anybody who played pedal steel guitar
        C D G G+ C
I would get them in my band and then my band would get real far
          C D G G+ B7
but I was raised in middle England, not in Nashville, Tennessee
        C D
and the only person in my band is me

G** x2

G** G**
A simple scale on an old guitar
      C C* Am D G**
and a punk rock sense of honesty
G** G**
I cannot fail when I've come this far
        C C* Am D G**
with no knowledge of midwest geography

         C D G G+ C
And if I knew anywhere where I could drive in a straight line
     C D G G+ C
for hours through the desert I'd drive for hours at a time
          C D G G+ B7
but I was raised in middle England, not in Nashville, Tennessee
        C D
and the only person in this car is me

Am C G
and yes I'm in 4/4 time
                  D Am
and yes I use cheap cheap rhymes
                         C G**
but I try to make it sound my own

Am C G
and no I don't break new ground
              D Am
    many have traveled this sound
                         C
but I try to make it sound like home

The chord for England in "...born in Middle England, not in..." it's not a D but works for the first two, but it's definitely wrong in the last one but I can't quite figure it out. Also, silly me, it's A7 not B7

Nice tab dude, i love this song! However, in the verse where you've put: C C* Am D G**, i don't think there should be an Am, so just play C C* D G**. And the chord in the chorus you've got as G+ I think should be (i think its called!) D/F#, and the chord you can't figure out is, ironically, B7 D/F# |-0-| B7 |-2-| |-3-| |-0-| |-2-| |-2-| |-0-| |-1-| |-x-| |-2-| |-2-| |-x-| Hope this helps!
