Note:
There are two guitars in this song Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy.
This is what Alex Kapranos plays.
I know that some chords don't sound right, like A5 in verse, but there is
definitely ''major-ish'' sound coming from Alex's guitar (you must remember
that there are two guitars in the song).
During chorus Alex definitely plays full A-major chord, and then I think
he realises his mistake and he changes it to A-minor just before B7 chord,
hence the smile on Nick's face at 1:36 minutes of this video. In later
lines he plays A-minor.
