Tugboat by Galaxie 500 as heard on Today which was originally resealed in 1988. It's a
easy song to play. Enjoy
Chords through whole song (Listen to the song for rhythm)

[Solo]
It's mainly an improvisation on the G major pentatonic scale. If you don't know the
here it is below :
E||--------------------0-3-|
B||----------------0-3-----|
G||------------0-2---------|
D||--------0-2-------------|
A||----0-2-----------------|
E||--3---------------------|
Just mix the notes up.
I didn't tab out the solo because I believe that it is much more fun to improvise and
create music than to copy the artist.
Have Fun !

Thanks for posting, but both chords are not consistent with the way Dean has played it over the years. You want a four fingered G chord (3rd and 4th fingers on the third fret of the B and e strings). Keep 3rd and 4th fingers in place and move fingers 1 and 2 for the Cadd9 chord (not Em/C).

Instead of showing the notes in the scale for the solo, you should’ve showed every note in scale on just the g string as most of Dean’s lead guitar parts are played entirely on one string (he uses only the g string on tugboat)
