[Verse 1]
        D4 D Gmaj7 G/B
The curtains are drawn, now the fire warms the room,
       Gm/Bb A7sus4 Am7 Am6 Bm
Mean - while, out - side, wind from the north-east chills the air,
         Em G/B G/C G/D
It will soon be snowing out there,
    Gm/Bb A7sus4 Am7 Am6 Bm
And some, there are, cold they pre - pare for a sleepless night,
       Em G/B G/C G/D
Maybe this will be their last fight!

[Verse 2]
           Bm Bm7 G
But we're safe in each other's em - brace,
          Bm Bm7 G
All fears go as I look on your face,
        C/D D7sus4(b11) Dm7 C/G G
Better think a - while, ...or I may never think ...a - gain,
    G5 G6 G7 Cmaj7 Fmaj9 Fm
If this ...were ...the last day of your life, ...my friend,
Em Em7 Em A7 A13 A7
Tell me, what do you think you would do ...then?

[Chorus]
  D D4 D G/B
Stand up to the blow---- ...that fate has struck upon you,
  D D4 D G/B
Make the most of all---- ...you still have coming to you,
 Em Em7/D Em6/C#
Lay down on the ground, ...and let the tears run from you,
 Bm G A A7/G
Crying to the grass and trees and heaven, finally on your knees,
 D D4 D G/B
Let me live a - gain---- let life come find me wanting,
 D D4 D G/B
Spring must strike a - gain---- ...against the shield of winter,
 Em Em7/D Em6/C#
Let me feel once more ...the arms of love surround me,
  Bm G F#4 F# B
Telling me the danger's past, I need not fear the icy blast a - gain!

[Verse 3]
  D4 D Gmaj7 G/B Gm/Bb A7sus4
Laughter, music and perfume linger here, and there, and there,
Am7 Am6 Bm
Wine ...flows from flask to glass and mouth,
       Em G/B G/C G/D
As it soothes, confusing our doubts,

There's to - morrow, sure as I'm here!

G/B Bm Bm7 G Bm Bm7 G
So the days they turn into years, and still no to - morrow ap - pears,

Wow, this song takes me back to my teenage days (and the good ones at that ...) - thanks so much for putting it up! And there is so much attention to detail (the "D7sus4(b11)" is fantastic), great!

There are some minor changes the teenage regions of my brain would suggest in the verses, though; and I'd leave out some of the optional chords here and there, too. It is 95% of what you put forward here anyway:

The [Dsus4]curtains are [D]drawn
Now the [Gmaj7]fire warms the [G/B]room.
Mean[Gm/Bb]while out[A7sus4]side
[Am7]Wind from the north-east chills the [Bm]air,
It will soon be snowing [Em]out there [Emaddb13 G/B]

And [Gm/Bb]some there [A7sus4]are
[Am7]Cold, they prepare for a sleepless [Bm]night.
Maybe this will be their [Em]last fight [Emaddb13 G/B]

But we're [Bm]safe in each other's em[G]brace,
All fears [Bm]go out as I look on your [G]face -

Better [C]think [D7sus4(b11)]a[D7sus4(b11)]while
Or [Dm7]I may never [C/G]think a[Gsus4]gain
If [G]this [Gsus4]were [G5]the [Cmaj7]last day of your [Fmaj7]life, my friend [Fm]
[Em] Tell me, [Em7]what do you [Em7/B]think you would [A7]do then? [A7add13 A7]
