ISN'T IT A PITY- George Harrison

G Em6 Em/C G
G Em6 Em/C G
Isn't it a pity, now isn't it a shame?
 G Go
How we break each other's hearts
C G
And cause each other pain
G A7
How we take each other's love
C G
Without thinking any more
G Go C G
Forgetting to give back, isn't it a pity?

Some things take so long
But how do I explain
There are too many people
Can't see we're all the same
And because of all the tears
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them, isn't it a pity?

G A7 C G Go C G
            A7 C G
Isn't it a pity, isn't it a shame
                            Go
How we break each other's hearts
C G
And cause each other pain
                           A7
How we take each other's love
C G
Without thinking any more
                    Go C G
Forgetting to give back, isn't it a pity?

G A7 C G
G Go C G
Forgetting to give back, isn't it a pity?

G A7 C G
G Go C G
Forgetting to give back, now isn't it a pity?

G Em6 Em/C
What a pity, pity pity pity pity (rpt many times and fade)

Em6 (actually C#m7b5/G): 3 4 2 0 0 0
Em/C: 3 3 2 0 0 0 Go: x x 2 3 2 3

NOTE: Wierd chords, man. Have you ever heard of a longer titled chord
than Em6??

one thing though............this may be just me, but I think it sounds better if you switch the G chords around at the turn-around....like do G(320033) G* Cmaj7/G G(320003). I think it just makes it sound more like a George Harrison tune.....begins happy, but turns a little sad at the end

^^yeah it reminds me of how awesome George was and then about his untimely death. We shall always remember George Harrison. These chords are 98% correct. Just the one thing m73 said.
