Try playing the Gm6add9 with the 9 as the top note, i.e., 3x2335. Finger it:
middle, index, bar the 3 and 2 strings with ring finger, add the pinky on the 1 string. Now doesn't that sound nice? beats76

Giving this one a hard listen right, there, is this weird bit after the bridge, where George is doing something very different...

Took me a while to catch it, but he's throwing in a half step dip to C# and a half step slide back to D
