I looked at the tab for this song on the website, and it was a little off. The rhythm
off and some notes were off. I listened to the song alot and looked at the videos of G?G!
and saw that there was a capo on or around the 7th fret. I put a capo on the 7th and
the notes from the other tab to figure out the tuning of each string. It took a while,
I got it.

Tuning - EAEAGe Capo 7th
6th string - Left normal
5th string - Left normal
4th string - Tuned up to E (2 frets)
3rd string - Tuned up to A (2 frets)
2nd string - Tuned down to G (4 frets)
1st string - Left normal

There are two riffs in the main, beginning part of the song and each riff is played in
different time signatures.

Riff 1 in 9/8
e|---------------------------------------------|
G|---------7t9---------------------7t9---------|
A|----7t12-----7t10-----------7t12-----7t10----|
E|-----------------------7t10------------------|

E|7t12-----------------------------------------|

I'm still not sure on the rest of the song. I kind of know it, but I'm not sure. I'll
it up later.

Here is the rhythm scheme for the song

*4(9/8) = four 9/8 measures*

Intro: 4(9/8) 7/8
Riff #1: 4(9/8) 3(7/8) 4(9/8) 7/8
Riff #2: 2(8/8) 7/8 8/8 2(7/8) 8/8 7/8 8/8
Riff #1: 9/8 7/8 9/8 2(7/8) 2(9/8)
Octave Pedal Fun!: 2(9/8) 7/8
Riff #1: 3(7/8) 2(9/8) 7/8 9/8 3/8

The rest is in 4/4

Note: the last two 9/8 measures of the intro is Joseph Andreoli having fun with his
pedal.

Enjoy :D

Nice, this is most likely the more correct way to play it but I hate having to change to open tunings. Glad someone had the motivation.

This tab is awesome! I have been trying to work out some other parts myself (just basic stuff): the last two measures of the 9/8 intro go something like this

-------------------------------------12------|
---------------------------------------------|
---10h12----7h10-----------12--10------------|
--------------------12-10--------------------|
---------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------|

and the part at 1:18 goes like this. The rhythm is pretty easy to work out I'll just but the shapes in the order that they appear

--------------------------------------------------------|
----12-----14-----12-----14----12-----9-----14----21----|
----10-----12-----10-----12----10-----9-----12----19----|
----X------X------X------X-----X------X-----X-----X-----|
----10-----7------10-----7-----10-----12----7-----7-----|
--------------------------------------------------------|

At the next bit where the drum stops and it's just guitar he's using that octave pedal like you mentioned earlier. this is the right melody but I can't work out what the bass notes are doing here or if this is how you play it. but it sounds nice.

-------------------------------------------------|
---12-12---11-11-11----12-12---11-11-11----------|
---10-10---9--9--9p7---10-10---9--9--9-----------|
-------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------------|

----------------------7-----------------------------|
------12-12---11---12------12----12-12---11-11-11---|
------10-10---9---------7--------10-10---9--9--9----|
----------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------|

Then after a couple of times around he just strums something like this and the drums come in for the solo

----7------|
----9------|
----7------|
----7------|
----7------|
-----------|

Hope this helps everyone!

Thanks, this helped a lot! I might try to work out the rest myself and put it up eventually.
