[Intro]
A

[Verse]
A D
Come monday night the day of work is done
Bm A E
Tuesday morning lose the grey of ordinariness
D A
Start by putting off your chores
            E
And all the crushing bores
         F#m
Say your morning prayers
       D
Sing a rousing song
                    E
Then sing it on the long walk home
A D
Come monday night we're in a state of praise
Bm A E
Twenty-million boys are caught up in a paper chase
D A
If the weekend promised much
        E
Then it failed to touch
     F#m D
On a single count what i was hoping for
           E
What i was hoping for
A D
Come monday night we turn the telly off
Bm A E
To listen to the silence
D A
Light that comes in from outside
             E
If you could catch it all
           F#m
And pin it to your wall
( D A )
Then you would sleep much better
Baby you would sleep much better
Maybe you would sleep much better
Baby you would sleep much better
Maybe you would sleep much better
Baby you would sleep much better
Maybe you would sleep much better
Baby you would sleep much better
Maybe you would sleep much better
Baby you would sleep much better
Maybe you would sleep much better
Baby you would sleep much better

[Outro]

da da da da da da da da
da da da da da dum
da da da da da dum
da da da da da da da da

Lack of accuracy. Tried playing through it yo, totally doesn't sound right, maybe it's just me but I've heard this song more times than I can count and it doesn't fit with that

yep, I'm pretty sure it's just you. I didn't tabbed this, just copyed from another site but it didn't have the tabber's name.

I just confirmed the accuracy using chordify and it's it gave the exact same chords, there was only one little mistake in the intro, which I corrected.

Maybe you're having trouble because of the strings that enriches the melody with tensions and counterpoint.

Reckon my guitar was just uniformly out of tune, I just gave it another try and it's fine.
