I used to play this decades ago, and this is exactly the way I remember it from the book I had back then. Thanks for a chance to brush up on all my old Gordan Lightfoot songs (all 3 that I used to play :). This is just an awesome song to fingerpick. Between this and Iris by Googoo Dolls I've made 3 different girls cry this week! Now that's what rock is all about!

Hi Pencom,
Thanks for tabbing this great Gordon Lightfoot song. Here is a couple of suggested changes to consider:
1. Play a G add9 chord after the G chord in the middle of the lines of the verses.= that start with a G chord.
2. I play a G/B chord rather than a G chord in the lines in the BRIDGE for the C chord.
3. I play an Em chord rather than a G chord at the end of a couple of lines in the BRIDGE. These lines start with an Am7 chord then go to a D chord and then I play an Em chord rather than the G chord.
Thanks for listening.
Tom
