Intro: (played on organ)

   Cm6
e[-----3--5--3-5-]

Verse 1:

G G/F C
Devastation at last finally we meet
G G/F C
After all of these years out here on the street
G G/F C
I had a feeling you would make yourself known
G G/F C
You came along just to claim your place on the throne
                Asus2
And I have been overthrown
    Cmaj7
Overthrown

Chorus:

    G G/F Em
And I thought if I towed the right lines
    Edim G G/F Em A7 C
But these mockingbirds won't let me shine

Verse 2:

G G/F C
Devastation my door was left open wide
G G/F C
You brought me into your heart then you swallowed my pride
G G/F C
I had a feeling you were hiding your thoughts
G G/F C
I made a note to myself I nearly forgot
          A7
Now I am overwrought
        C
I'm overwrought

Chorus:

    G G/F Em
And I thought if I towed the right lines
    Edim G G/F Em A7 C
But these mockingbirds won't let me shine

Chorus:

    G G/F Em
And I thought if I towed the right lines
    Edim G G/F Em A7 Edim
But these mockingbirds won't let me shine

Middle part:

D Gm6
One day this ground will break
    D G Em A
And open up for me I hope it will I hope it will (the last word start the Solo)

Verse 3:

D Csus2 G
Salutations at last down on my knees
D Csus2 G
I heard the bugle this morn blast reveille
D Csus2 G
Woke from a dream where I was in a terrible realm
D Csus2 G
All my sails were ablaze I was chained to the helm
             E
And now I am overwhelmed
        G
I'm overwhelmed

Chorus:

    D Csus2 Bm

great tab , the chords are correct and if you want to play the french tv version just don't use a capo, the only doubt i've got is with bdim and cm6 i think they're played in a different way, but still it's a great tab

Can you explain why you would have tune down a half step and then put a capo on? Couldn't you just put the capo on the first fret in standard tuning and get the same effect?
