Chorus lick played after the G*

   G E
E|-----------------------
B|-----------------------
G|-----------------------
D|--5-/-7-/-5-/-4--------
A|--3-/-5-/-3-/-2--------
E|--3-/-5-/-3-/-2--------

D Bm
Baby, your mind's already made up
D Bm
You just don't know it yet
   A G F#m A
Or maybe you're just letting me down easy
D Bm D Bm
I, I know you tried, tried to keep us together
A G F#m A D
But in the end there was nothing left to keep

D C#m A G Bb F A
(Can't keep, a promise never made)

D Bm D Bm
I said, I said that I love you, and I always will
A G F#m A G
Now that would have been true if only time stood still

G Bm F#m G
It was too little, too late,
                        Bm F#m E
and now too much is not enough
E G*
I know we got it wrong
E G*
I did too little, too late
E
Someday you'll see the shades of grey
   G A D
So baby, please, don't let your love turn to hate

    D Bm
Now summer's here, but my baby ain't
D Bm
I never got the chance to say "don't go"
A G F#m A
Because you were already long gone by then
D Bm
Uncertainty had me in a chokehold
D Bm
And all I could think to say was so far from right
A G F#m
It made the wrong words seem like poetry

G Bm F#m G
It was too little, too late,
                        Bm F#m E
and now too much is not enough
E G*
I know we got it wrong
E G*
I did too little, too late
E
Someday you'll see the shades of grey
   G A G A D
So baby, please, don't let your love, baby, please, don't let your love turn to hate

D C#m A G Bb F A
(Can't keep, a promise never made)
D C#m A G Bb F A
(Can't keep, a promise never made)

G Bm F#m G
Honey, I hope you realise
                                         Bm F#m E
being persuasive doesn't always make you right
E G*
I know we got it wrong
E G*
I did too little, too late
E
Someday you'll see the shades of grey
   G A D
So baby, please, don't let your love turn to hate

In the wrong tuning (Graveyard always play in D standard) and the chords don't sound right even when transposed down.
