Artist: Great Big Sea
Song: Walk On The Moon
Tabbed by: Chris Broad (c_broad78@hotmail.com)

Hey all! Here's one of the newest GBS tunes. It's from the upcoming album, but
I just couldn't wait to put this one out there. I had a little help, though. I
must give credit to Jonny Fray of Boston, MA for his help. Without his
ssistance, this tab would not have been ready yet. Thanks also goes to Blair for
pointing me toward this video.

If you need a little help with the strumming (some arpeggiation) just look it up
on YouTube. Johnny does a great job with this one.

Have fun!

INTRO:
 |G/B Cadd9 | D* | (4 times)

Verse:
G/B C
Is it just me,
      D*
Or a message from above?
G/B C
Bells are ringing,
             D*
And push has finally come to shove.
G/B C
The door before me now
    D*
Is open just enough.

Prechorus (1):
        C G/B Asus D
And I’m sick and tired of waiting for dreams that never come.
    C G/B Asus D
And games I’d never played in, but still wish that I had won.

Chorus:
    G D
Now I’m alive.
         G/B C
I’ve got one shot and I’m kicking it to you.
G D
I’m alive.
         G/B C
Though I realized it not a moment too soon.
G C
This is my one small step.
Asus D
This is my walk on the moon.

--INTRO--

Verse:
Did you think their hands were shaking
As their rocket ship touched down?
I’m sure they shivered,
When they finally touched the ground.
And that giant leap so fragile
And it hardly made a sound.

Prechorus (2):
Well it must have been amazing for a world they got to see.
But I don’t care. My foolish fear won’t get the best of me.

Chorus

--INTRO--

Prechorus 2

Final Chorus:

I’m alive.
I’ve got one shot and I’m kicking it to you.
I’m alive.
Though I realized it not a moment too soon.

I’ve got one shot and I’m kicking it to you.
I’m alive.
Though I realized it not a moment too soon.
G C Asus D
This is my one small step.
G C Asus

This is my walk on the moon. (x4)
