Sweet Child O' Mine - Sheryl Crow / Guns
   n Roses

[F] He's got a smile that it seems to me
[F9] Reminds me of childhood memories
Where [F] everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky
[F] Now and then when I see his face
[F9] It takes me away to that special place
and if I [F] stay too long I'd probably break down and [F] cry

[F9] Oh [F] oh, sweet child of [F] mine
[F9] Oh, oh, [F] oh, sweet love of [F] mine

[F] He's got eyes of the bluest sky
[F9] and if they thought of rain
I'd [F] hate to look into those eyes and [F] see an ounce of pain
[F] His hair reminds me of a warm safe place
   [F9] where as a child I'd hide
and [F] pray for the thunder and for the rain to [F] quietly pass me by

[F9] Oh [F] oh sweet child of [F] mine
[F9] Ooooo oh, oh, [F] oh sweet love of [F] mine
[F9] Oh, oh, oh, [F] oh sweet child of [F] mine
Hey, hey-hey [F9] Oh [F] sweet love of [F] mine

   {electric guitar solo; chords go like this: [Dm] [F] [Em7] [Dm] x2}

[Dm] Where do we go, [F] where do we go now, [D] where do we go [F] [F]
[Dm] Where do we go, [F] where do we go now, [D] where do we go [F] [D]
[Dm]Where do we go, [F] sweet child, [D] where do we go now [F] [F]
   [Dm]Ahhhhh[F]hhhh, [D]where do we goooo[F]oooo[F]ooooo
[Dm] Where do we go, [F] sweet child, [D] where do we go now [F] [F]
[Dm] Where do we gooo[F]oooo, [D]where do we go now [F] [F]
[Dm] Where do we go, [F] [D] where do we go now [F] Na-na-na-
   [F]na-na-na
   [Dm] Sweet [F] child, sweet [D] chi-[F] . . .[F] ld of [Dm] mine

If you transpose until the first chord is F (easier to play on gCEA tuned uke) try Dm in front of "everything" and "stay" in first verse perhaps.

and thereafter F9 - Dm - F chord progression instead of F9 - F.

Not a 1-chord song... This is a 3-chord song until the "bridge/outro."
