I’ve seen these comments for a long time, thought about them way more than necessary, and finally can’t help but weigh in. I think he says “Turk.” Dictionary.com lists “a violent, brutal, or domineering person” as an obsolete/derogatory definition of Turk. Nevertheless, I say “jerk” when I sing it because it obviously makes more sense today.
