[Intro]
G#m F# E F#

B E5
Don't believe everything happiness says
B E5
Nothing feels better than hiding these days
   B E5 B E5
We bury our fears in the drinks, in these tears
        G#m F# E F#
For the days we believed we could fly

B E5
Call up your brothers and sisters and friends
         B E5
We'll go back to the place where the night never ends
        B E5 B E5
We'll remember the fires, the burning car tires
    G#m F# E F#
Boy how in the hell did we get here?

   B E5
So why don't you meet me, down behind the old school
      B G#m F#
We'll waste away the weekend, with perfect regard for how
B E5
Cavalier we used to be, that beautiful insanity
    B
The apathy surrounding me
G#m F# B E5
Don't close your eyes or we'll fade....... away

B E5
Over and over and over again
       B E5
We sat down for a minute, grew up into men
          B E5 B E5
Now we're putting out fires and changing car tires
    G#m F# E F#
Man how in hell did we get here?

   B E5
So why don't you meet me, down behind the old school
      B G#m F#
We'll waste away the weekend, with perfect regard for how
B E5
Cavalier we used to be, that beautiful insanity
    B
The apathy surrounding me
G#m F#
Don't close your eyes or we'll

A E B
Fade away this time
          G#m
And we'll never get back what we
A E F#
Gave away, when we still have that fire in our eyes
B E5
Don't believe everything happiness says
B E5
Nothings as real as our old reckless ways
        B E5
When we drink by the fires
    B E5
The burning car tires
    B E5
Bad girls and good liars
    B E5
The dreams we'd conspire
    G#m F#
The days we went crazy
    B E5
The nights wild and hazy
    G#m F# E F#
Man how in the hell did we get here?

   B E5
So why don't you meet me, down behind the old school
      B G#m F#
We'll waste away the weekend, with perfect regard for how
B E5
Cavalier we used to be, that beautiful insanity
    B
The apathy's surrounding me
G#m F#

the chords sound good but tuning down would be a watse of time. just play everything in a barre chorde a half a step lower than wat is posted ie. b=a# g#m=gm ect.

instead of trying to stretch your fingers to do 4-6-6-4-0-0 for g#m, just mute the g string.
