What's with guitar 2? I don't hear anything that resembles that... Perhaps it's just me but it's not the way I'd play it.

after the bass the real first guitar that comes in does an octave bend like this:

b----5b-------
g-------------

only bend the 5 and keep your finger on the 2 and play both. It's octave bending and it sounds like that's what he's doing in it. And then the second guitar is doing what you said the first guitar does later. Hope that helped
