[verse 1]
D A
Someday you'll hear my cry
    C D
The lonesome nightingale
D A
Parched upon this broken branch
C D
My love has now set sail

[chorus]
C Em
Come sing with me a melody
G D
In the dark of the night
C Em
Come far away to nightingale's
G D
Make everything all right

[instrumental]

C - Em - G - D

[verse 2]
D A
Every time I close my eyes
    C D
The sun appears again
D A
High above this broken branch
     C D
Will these wings ever mend

[chorus]
C Em
Come sing with me a melody
G D
In the dark of the night
C Em
Come far away to nightingale's
G D
Make everything all right

[instrumental]

C - Em - G - D

[verse 3]
D A
I can hear the morning count
    C D
She lifts her weary head
D A
High above this broken dream
   C D
To me her arms extend

[chorus]
C Em
Come sing with me a melody
G D
In the dark of the night
C Em
Come far away to nightingale's
G D
Make everything all right

I have realised how to do the little riff acoustically (which is found on the actual track).

Basically, it's to the rhythm of the riff in the song and goes

A to C to Em to G

You can arpeggio this, riff and arpeggio it or just strum it. You can also try A or Am for effect.

This is as well as (with 2 guitars) or instead of the filler.
