I've seen a few tabs of this and none seem to be quite right. I figured out the chords
the bass tabs and just a bit of common sense when it comes to what key it's in. For
It's clearly an Am as an ordinary A would just be wrong when combined with the bass or
melody. I've stolen the format off ZaXoR878 just to save time on rewriting all the lyrics
so thanks to you!

I haven't seen interpol do an acoustic version of this but i enjoy playing it and with
being my first tab i hope you'll comment back!!

[Verse 1]
F Bb Am Dm
Rosemary, Heaven restores you in life
You're coming with me
            Bb Am Dm
Through the aging, the fearing, the strife

It's the smiling on the package
It's the faces in the sand
It's the thought that moves you upwards
Embracing me with two hands

Right will take you places
Yeah maybe to the beach
When your friends they do come crying
Tell them now your pleasure's set upon slow release

[Bridge](just listen to the song here, the changes are fairly obvious)

Hey wait
Great smile
Sensitive to fate, not denial
(No Chords)
But hey who's on trial?

F Dm
It took a lifespan with no cellmate
    Bb Am
The long way back
C Bb
Sandy, why can't we look the other way?

[Verse 2]
We speak about travel
Yeah we think about the land
We smart like all peoples
Feeling real tan

I could take you places
Do you need a new man?
Wipe the pollen from the faces
Make revision to a dream while you wait in the van

It took a lifespan with no cellmate
To find the long way back
Sandy, why can't we look the other way?
You're weightless; you are exotic
You need something for which to care
Sandy, why can't we look the other way?

[Verse 3]
Leave some shards under the belly
Lay some grease inside my hand
It's a sentimental jury
And the makings of a good plan
You've come to love me lightly
Yeah you come to hold me tight
Is this motion ever lasting
Or do shudders pass in the night?

Rosemary, Heaven restores you in life

I spent a lifetime with no cellmate
The long way back
Sandy, why can't we look the other way?
You're weightless, semi-erotic
You need someone to take you there
Sandy, why can't we look the other way?

Why can't we just play the other game?
Why can't we just look the other way?

Actually, the A should be a major chord, not minor. It's true that it's not actually within the standard scale harmony, but lots of songs have that same half step major to major rise, which has a particular effect (Pixies, Where is My Mind? and Weezer, Say it Ain't So). It does work with the melody and it's not at all inconsistent with the bass part, since the bass is just playing the root of each chord.
