Capo 1st fret
When playing a G in the verses, you can hammer on/pull off to the 5th and 2nd fret of the high E string
to get closer to what Jack plays

[Verse]

G
The light was leaving and the west it was blue
C
The children's laughter sang
G
And skipping just like the stones they threw
C
Their voices echoed across the way
D7
It's getting late

[Chorus]

G F C
It was just another night
       D
With a sunset
      G F C
And a moonrise not so far behind
            D
To give us just enough light
    G F C
To lay down underneath the stars
         D
Listen to papa's translations
G F C
Of the stories across the sky
             D
We drew our own constellations

[Verse]

G
The west winds often last too long
C
The wind may calm down nothing ever feels the same
G
Sheltered under the Kamani tree
C
Waiting for the passing rain
G
Clouds keep moving to uncover the scene
C
Stars above us chasing the day away
G
To find the stories that we sometimes need
C
Listen close enough
D7
All else fades, fades away

[Chorus]

G F C
It was just another night
       D
With a sunset
      G F C
And a moonrise not so far behind
            D
To give us just enough light
    G F C
To lay down underneath the stars
         D
Listen to all the translations
G F C
Of the stories across the sky
             D
We drew our own constellations

It might just be me, but I think instead of 'Dsus2' I think it should be 'D7'.

Yeah definitely, and also I think after the D7, before entering the chorus it should go back to C again.. I'm not sure if that's the way jack plays it, I just thought it sounded better that way :)
