                C B Am G F
                     C B Am G F
                Well I've been out walkin'
                            C B Am G F
And I don't do that much talking, these days
                C G
                These days.
                      F
These days I seem to think a lot
                                                  C G
About the things that I forgot to do, for you
[Verse]
                    C B Am G F
And all the times I had a chance to
                     C B Am G F
                Well I had a lover
                        C B Am G F
I don't think I'll risk another, these days.
                C G
                These days.
[Verse]
                      F
These days I seem to be afraid
                                                    C G
To live th life that I have made in song
                         C B Am G F
But it's just that I have been loosing, so long

                [LEAD] C B Am G F :| 2x G

                                                     C G
Count the time in quarter tones till ten, my friend
                    C B Am G F
And I believe I've come to see myself again

[Verse]
                F
These days I sit on corner stones
                                                     C G
Count the time in quarter tones till ten, my friend
                                C B Am G F Bb F

I like to play this capo 4. I play the descending line with a C/B instead of the B. That mirrors Wilco's "Jesus, Etc." almost exactly (the difference being the fourth chord (this progression goes to a G, Tweedy to an E).

When Jackson Brown does this, he adds a walk up with an 'e' - 'f' after "these days, these days" where it resolves from the F to the G, while pausing on that G chord, singing
"days", so it goes like this
Fmaj7. G. E. F
these days-these days..
play the G chord then add the E and F in rhythm.
I hope that is understood. there's a guy on YouTube that I saw do it. sounds nice.
