James Blunt – Give me some love

Real key of the song : F + ¼ tone.

You can play it in F, it won't make a big difference. If you really want it to sound
the original, you have two options :

1- tune down all the strings of the guitar of -1/4 tone and play the chords with capo 1
for the safety of the strings)
2- or tune up everything + ¼ tone, and play without capo

Intro : F A Dm Dm/C Bb Bbm

Verse 1 :

Dm Bb Gm A
Me and my guitar play my way. It makes them frown.
Dm Bb Gm A
But little pieces by the highway bring me down.
Dm Dm/C
Mine is not a heart of stone, I am only skin and bone,
Bb A
And those little pieces are little pieces of my own.

Refrain :
	       F
Why don't you give me some love?
            A
I've taken ship-load of drugs.
        Dm Dm/C Bb
I'm so tired of never fixing the pain.
    F A
Valium said to me, I'll take you seriously,
          Dm Dm/C Bb
And we'll come back as someone else,
      Bbm
Who's better than yourself.

Verse 2 (same chords as Verse 1) :

Many faces at the doorway all hang round.
Watch me fighting in the hallway but make no sound.
So I'm standing all alone, and I'm only skin and bone.
So many faces but they all look out for their own.

Refrain (same as before):

Why don't you give me some love?
I've taken ship-load of drugs.
I'm so tired of never fixing the pain.
Valium said to me,I'll take you seriously,
And we'll come back as someone else,
Who's better than yourself.

Musical bridge : (F/C A/C# Dm Bb) x3 Bb G C

Refrain (chords are different in the end!!):

Why don't you give me some love?
I've taken ship-load of drugs.
I'm so tired of never fixing the pain.
Valium said to me, I'll take you seriously,
          Dm Dm/C Bb
And we'll come back as someone else,
	G C C/Bb Am7 Am7/G
Who's better than yourself. today

Outro :

   F A Dm Dm/C Bb C
And some day soon they'll drop the bomb and let it all out. Someday...
	     F A Dm Dm/C Bb
I know that someday soon we'll all be gone so let it all out.
Bbm F
Let it all out today.
     F
And give me some love,
      F
Yeah, give me some love,
         F F
Come on, give me some love today.

Hi. I am the person who made this tab. There is a mistake : some chords disppeared when they put my tab online, I don't know what happened. Here is the correction : For the musical bridge, after the second refrain, it should be : (F/C A/C# Dm Bb) x3 Bb G C (chords moved and the G was deleted) And for the outro, on the first sentence, the chords moved and a Bb is missing..it should be: F A Dm Dm/C Bb C And some day soon they'll drop the bomb and let it all out. Someday...
