[INTRO:] G D/F# Em C

[Verse 1:]
G
Had a dream I was standing on the shore
D/F#
Two feet planted in the sand
Em C
Soakin' up Your Glory, yea
G
I saw You walkin' from a distance
D/F#
Without a hint of resistance
Em C
Had Your arms open and a warmth in Your eyes
Am7 D/F#
You took my hand and You whispered

[Chorus:]
G D/F#
Come to me when you're weary and
Em
I'll give you hope when you're hurting
C
I'll give you rest from your burden (x2)
G D/F# Em C
Now! (Oh oh yea, Right now)

[Verse 2:]
G *
I woke up to the weight of the world
D/F# Em
Right back into reality and
                   C
all that's going wrong
              G
'Cause in the midst of this chaotic life I
D/F#
try to find peace of mind
Em C
but You've been there all along
Am7 D/F#
and even now I hear You whisper

[Chorus:]
G D/F#
Come to me when you're weary and
Em
I'll give you hope when you're hurting
C
I'll give you rest from your burden
G D/F#
Come to me when you're weary and
Em
I'll give you hope when you're hurting
C D/F#
I'll give you rest from your burden!

[Bridge:]
D/F# Em C
I feel the weight, I feel the weight is slowing liftin' and You close the distance
      D/F#
and I know it's gonna be okay when I hear You say!

[Chorus:]
G * D/F# *
Come to me when you're weary and
Em *
I'll give you hope when you're hurting
C (pick it up)
(Ooo) I'm gonna carry your burden!
G D/F#
Come to me when you're weary and
Em
I'll give you hope when you're hurting
C G D/F#
I'll give you rest from your burden now! Oh, Oh, Yea
Em
I'll give you hope when you're hurting
C G
I'll give you rest from your burden now!
D/F# Em
I'll give you rest!
        C G *
Oh, the weight is liftin' now!

THANK YOU!

The correction just made was saying to substitute the C with the D/F#.
Otherwise, everything was correct! (:

Thanks I actually realized that is correct BUT it should be:

Em C D/F#
Soakin' up your glory, yea
Em C D/F#
Had your arms open and a warmth in your eyes
C D/F#
all that's going wrong
Em C D/F#
But you've been there all along

You hit the D/F# right before you switch to the Em...at least that is how it sounds on the CD.
