For the intro, I find this to sound more accurate and easier to play.

The Tuning is actually Drop D so anytime the tab calls for you to use the low E, just shift it up a step (two frets) and go from there. Also, if you want to recreate his sound its actually 3 amps, Two distorted with fuzz (Russian Big Muff Pi's) and delay (DD-6 I believe) and one clean with chorus (CE-2).
