Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
This chart is my interpretation of the acoustic version
with Jerrod playing solo. The basic strum pattern is d xu uxu
with x meaning muted strum. In verse 1 and 2, use power chords, changing
every measure and lots of mute.
In the chorus, verse 3 and outro, use full chords, less mute and 2 measures
per chord.

Capo: 2

[Verse 1]

        E A
Well the truth, well it hurts to say
        E A
Im gonna pack up my bags and Im gonna go away
        E A
Im gonna split, I can't stand it
        E A
Im gonna give it up and quit and aint never coming back
            E A
Girl, but before I get to going, Ive got to say,
   E A
I know you used to love me but that was yesterday,
         E A
And the truth, I won't fight it,
          E A
When the love starts burning you got to do whats right

[Chorus 1]

   E E A A
Oh lover lover lover, you dont treat me no good no more,
    E E A A
Oh lover lover lover, you dont treat me no good no more,

[Verse 2]
(same as verse 1)

Well the truth, yes it hurts to say
Im gonna pack up my bags and I'm gonna go away
Im gonna split, I cant stand it
Im gonna give it up and quit and aint never coming back
Girl, but before I get to going, Ive got to say,
There was a time oh woman, when you used to shake it for me
But now all you do is just treat me cold
Aint gonna take it no more, gonna walk out the door

[Chorus 2]

   E E A
Lover lover lover, you don't treat me no good no more,
    A
No good no more more more more
   E E A A
Lover, lover lover, you don't treat me no good no more, yeah, yeah yeah

[Verse 3]

        E E
Well I wait up for you almost every night
         A A
And Im hurtin so bad cuz you dont treat me right
    E E
Oh, woman, oh woman you know I love you so
              A A
But youre so mean to me baby Im walkin out the door
     E E A A
Ho lover, Oh lover, yea, yeah, yeah
    E E
I know you used to love me in every way
            A A
But now Im givin it up, cuz Im tired of cryin babe
        E E
I cant stand it no longer, hurts me to say
        A A
But Im packin up my bags, goin far away,

[Outro]

     E E A A
Hey lover, oh lover, yea, yeah, yeah

Clearly wrong. A capo on 2 doesn't sound right at all. What tuning is this supposed to be in? Standard is just wrong.

it should be a capo on the 3rd fret, which is just another way of playing the G and C chords
