HEY JOE by Jimi Hendrix

[Intro]

eb|-0h0p0------------|-----------------|---------------|-------|
Bb|-3-5-3------------|-----------------|---------------|-------|
Gb|-------2-0--------|-----------------|---------------|--5----|
Db|-----------2-----2|---5----5---4--2-|-----7-----7---|--5----|
Ab|---------------2--|---5----5---4--2-|-7-9---7-9---7-|--3----|
Eb|-------------0----|-0----0---0----0-|---------------|--0----|
                ^
                Let ring

After the intro it just goes into this progression:

C G D A E5 E5 (Em7 or whatever, you can alter it)

[Alt Intro]

eb|-0----0------------------0---------------------------0--------------|
Bb|-3/5--3------------------0---------------------------0--------------|
Gb|---------4/2--0----------1---------------------------1--------------|
Db|-----------------2-------2------4/5---4/5---4--2--------------------|
Ab|-----------------------2--------4/5---4/5---4--2--------------------|
Eb|--------------------0--------0------0-----0-------0-----0-----------|

eb|----------------------|
Bb|-------7-----7--------|
Gb|-------7-----7--------|
Db|---7h9---7h9---9------|
Ab|----------------------|
Eb|----------------------|

The rest is:

C G D A E

repeated and repeated.....

Obviously there are a lot of bits played between the chords to liven it
up. The two riffs at the end of the intro bit are used quite a few times

-the first one is the 4/5 slide on the A and D strings
                       4/5

-the second is the bit at the 7th and 9th frets on the second line of tab

Then there's that run played in octaves on bass and guitar.
The bass tab looks exactly the same as the guitar tab (ignoring B and E
strings!)

Some of u people need 2 check urselves cause ur attitudes and comments don’t belong to a platform like this where people come 2 learn and offer ideas willing 2 take legit criticisms from people that r also here to help. I don’t get why some of u assholes come off with a fake ass confidence and a thick level of arrogance rather than using ur knowledge 2 help someone become a better musician, a lot of times not knowing what ur talking about either. Doing that can make people, music lovers like urself, feel like they’re worthless wannabe musicians that don’t even deserve being here, shutting them down killing their desire to ever post an idea again. If ur looking for precise, perfect tabs u need to look elsewhere because all of us should express and offer our ideas and interpretations, that can get others at least started on a new song, and then working on that idea and learning to play at the same time. People volunteer their ideas here expecting to be critiqued, not to b made fun of and belittled. You love music and love playing it even more, so channel some of that love for music to other people that love it like you do, and help them become better. That what u do when u have a passion for something...rather than saturating it with negative vibes with a potential to destroy someone else's passion.

On the chord progression, it should be A maj rather that Am :)
