Here's a way to play in the same key as version 2 without straining for all those barre chords:

Capo 1 (Chords relative to capo)

Intro: G

     G
You close your eyes and kiss your hand then you blow it.
     Em
Why isn't it for me, and I noticed
      D
If the choice was ours alone,
Then why'd we both choose letting go?
      Cadd9
Does it end like this?

      G
Time never had a chance to heal your heart
      Em
Just a number always counting down to a new start
      D
You always knew the truth
And the world would spin around you
     Cadd9
Are you dizzy yet?

CHORUS

     Em C
Respectfully, some honesty I'm calling out
       G D
Do you hear the conversation we talk about?
  Em C
Back away to the safety of a quiet house
            G
If there's half a chance in this moment
          D
When your eyes meet mine we show it

VERSE 2
     G
I'll talk and not a lot to think, we live in dreams
    Em
And shame never crept close to our naked feet
    D
If there's something left to lose,
Then don't let me wear out my shoes
       Cadd9
I'm still walking.

  G
I tried, but it rang and rang, I called all night
    Em
On a payphone, remember those from another life?
   D
If everything I meant to you,
You can't lick and seal then fold in two
     Cadd9
Then I've been so blind.

CHORUS

     Em C
Respectfully, some honesty I'm asking now
       G D
Do you hear the conversation we talk around?
  Em C
Back away to the safety of a quiet house
            G
If there's half a chance in this moment
          D
When your eyes meet mine we show it

BRIDGE

Em D
Oh, oh take it all back, take the first, the last and only.
Cadd9
Oh, oh take it all back, take it all back,
Everything you showed me.
Em D C
Oh, oh, this must be how it feels when the feeling goes

Em D
I told you as I haven't, I never felt this way
C
You said I had the shot that stopped my clock
Baby it's okay
Em
You said you never had regrets
D
Jesus is there someone else
Cadd9
Who got that wish, did you get yours babe?

CHORUS

     Em C
Respectfully, some honesty I'm asking now
       G D
Do you hear the conversation we talk around?
  Em C
Back away to the safety of a quiet house
            G
If there's half a chance in this moment
          D
When your eyes meet mine we show it

I forgot to mention that these chords should be played with the capo on the first fret. That way you are playing in the same key as Version 2 of these chords without all those barre chords.

Give it a try again with the capo on the 1st fret.

Sounds decent w capo on 1st but I dunno for some reason it sounds more "right" without the capo - even using power chords instead of bar chords in that ver. I could just have bad ears tho :p

Otherwise good tab, easier to play than v2 for sure!
