        Bm G D Asus4 A Em
(For and easier switch in the verses from the Asus4 to A, play the A with its
regular fingering and add the pinky finger for the Asus4 and just lift it to switch)

[Verse 1]
D Asus4/A Bm
There's no one in town I know, but you gave us someplace to go;
  Bm G
I never said thank you for that, thought I might get one more chance...
D Asus4 Bm
And what would you think of me now, so lucky, so strong, so proud?
  Bm G
I never said thank you for that, and now I'll never have a chance...

[Chorus]
    D Asus4 G D Asus4 G
May angels lead you in, hear you me my friends.
    D Asus4 Em G
On sleepless roads the sleepless go,
    D Asus4 G
may angels lead you in...

[Verse 2]
D Asus4/A Bm
Now what would you think of me now, so lucky, so strong, so proud?
  Bm G
I never said thank you for that, and now I'll never have a chance...

[Chorus]
     D Asus4 G D Asus4 G
May angels lead you in, hear you me my friends.
    D Asus4 Em G
On sleepless roads the sleepless go,
    D Asus4 G
may angels lead you in...

[Bridge]
Bm G Bm D G

D Asus4 G, D Asus4 G, D Asus4, Em G, D Asus4 G...

D Asus4/A Bm
And if you were with me tonight, I'd sing to you just one more time;
  Bm G
a song for a heart so big, God couldn't let it live...

[Chorus]
    D Asus4 G D Asus4 G
May angels lead you in, hear you me my friends.
   D Asus4 Em G
On sleepless roads the sleepless go,
    D Asus4 G
may angels lead you in.
    D Asus4 G D Asus4 G
May angels lead you in, hear you me my friends.
    D Asus4 Em G
On sleepless roads the sleepless go,
    D Asus4 G
may angels lead you in...

the placement for Bm at the top is wrong. it should start on "A" not "E".

Prisock—but you had no problem with the Em in the same line? That is an acceptable Bm/F#. Em has a D thrown in making it a 7th.
