Em C G
Well you're just across the street
         D Em C
Looks a mile to my feet
                 G D
I want to go to you
Em C G
Funny how I'm nervous still
       D Em
I've always been the easy kill
    C G D
I guess I always will

[Chorus]

         Em C G D
Could it be that everything goes 'round by chance? (chance?)
         Em C G D
Or only one way that it was always meant to be (be)
                   Em C G D Em
You kill me, you always know the perfect thing to say (hey hey, hey hey)
                C G D
I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away

Em C G D

Em C G
I can picture your face well
          D Em
From the bar in my hotel
 C G D Em
I wish I'd go to you
        C G
I pick up put down the phone
             D Em
Like your favorite Heatmeiser song goes
      C G D
It's just like being alone

[Chorus]

         Em C G D
Oh God, please don't tell me this has been in vain (vain)
          Em C G D
I need answers for what all the waiting I've done means (means)
                     Em C G D
You kill me, you've got some nerve, but can't face your mistakes (hey hey,
    Em
hey hey)
                C G D
I know what I should do, but I just can't turn away

Em C G D

          G
So go on love
                           D
Leave while there's still hope for escape
                      Em C
Got to take what you can these days
                   G
There's so much ahead
          D
So much regret
                       G
I know what you want to say

(Know what you want to say)
               D
I know it but can't help feeling differently
     Em C
I loved you, and I should have said it
          G D
But tell me just what has it ever meant

          Em C G D
I can't help it baby, this is who I am (am)
           Em C G D
Sorry, but I can't just go turn off how I feel (feel)
                  Em C G D Em
You kill me, you build me up, but just to watch me break (hey hey, hey hey)
                C G D G
I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away

Not the real way they play it but also ok, only the verses sound a bit strange in several parts.

This isn't how its really played but its a more mellow version of it and really does sound good!

I don't know but I think it might sound a bit better if you omit the D? Or play it like this: 000230 (D5?)
