The last chord in each chorus is Em not A! Try it! It sounds better!

and i play the end of each verse as xxx222 xxx000

the rest sounds fine!

Correct about the Em, John liked the G-D-EM sequence, same as 'All You Need Is Love' verse. This tab is right to go back to A at the very end of the chorus though.
One other small error- The last chord of the verse is definitely Bm, not E. You can hear the bass is playing the B note on that chord and it sounds right. Let me know if you agree
