Chords in parentheses are F-shaped barre chords, take the notes on the E string
and put the chord there.

B7 F#m A E
The grass is long in the valley my love
B7 F#m A
And there we'll go to lie
B7 F#m A E
When the hawk is high in the house for us
B7 F#m A
He guards all of the blue sky
B7 C#m (A) E
When winter comes and the night's cold
B7 C#m (G#) (A) E
I'll take your hand to hold

I dreamt I flew with the saints last night
I know them all by wing size
And up there it just doesn't count for naught
Whether you're clever or wise
When everyone is talking at the very same time
I can still hear your voice my dear

Genesius the actor and Agnes of Rome
Are two of the truest to fly
I know she is a stout heart
And though we had a full start
There's a promise of truth in his eye

C#m (A) F#m E
And it's a stout heart that catches the rain
C#m (A) B7 E
And it's a stout heart that feels the pain
(G#) (A) F#m E
And it's a stout heart that loves again
C#m (G#) (A) E
And it's a stout heart x2

Everyone goes against the wind sometimes
When the shipping forecast's wrong
Said we were landlocked and stuck to this soil
Guess they never heard of us winged throng
Let’s gather us up to the heavens above
We can always come back, my love
We can always come back, my love

End on and Am barre chord.

Hey,

It's really great you put this up! Few tips:
1. The B7 is correct in the first four lines, but at "When winter comes...:" it's a ragular B

2. F# is F#m

But great job!
M.

You're right on the F#m, but I'm not sure about the regular B.

The "when the winter comes" line is definitely a regular B. I also think that there is no B7 at the "I'll take your hand to hold" line and you go directly to the C#m. When he ends each stanza on the E, it sounds like he kind of alternates the first and second fret on the 4th string, like going between a regular E and (I guess it would be a) Esus4th. Fun tab. Thanks for posting.
