E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
I'm not sure why it always goes downhill
E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
Why broken cisterns never could stay filled
           E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
I've spent ten years singing gravity away
        E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
But the water keeps on falling from the sky

With every hope and dream I've ever had in doubt
          E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
I've spent ten years trying to sing these doubts away

E Bsus4 F#11 F#7sus4 F#11
I try to find a cure for the pain
E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
Oh my Lord, to suffer like you do
E Bsus4 F#11 E Bsus4 F#11E Bsus4 F#11
It would be a lie to run away

Verse 3
E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
So blood is fire pulsing through our veins
E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
We're either riders, or fools behind the reigns
          E Bsus4 F#11 Emaj7
I've spent ten years trying to sing it all away

But the water keeps on falling from my tries

The root chords are basically right, but their coloring is very weird. The open B and e strings color the song as if it's in the key of E major, when it's really in B major.

I would play it in the key of C, downtuned a half step (as in 'ver 1') or the key of G, Capo-ed 4 ('ver 2')

@thegeniusboy05 Just a different way to play it...Jon really plays it a half step down though like you said.
