Em : 022030
G : 0-10-9-10-10-10

           D G
My analyst told me that I was right out of my head
              D G
The way he de-scribed it he said I’d be better dead than live
I didn’t listen to his jive
  D B
I knew all along that he was all wrong
      Em
And I knew that he thought
A D Bm Em
I was crazy but I’m not, oh, no

A D G
My analyst told me that I was right out of my head
               D
He said I need treatment but I’m not that easily led
       G
He said I was the type that was most inclined
     D B
When out of his sight to be out of my mind
       Em
And he thought I was nuts
A D Bm Em
No more ifs or ands or buts

     D G
They say as a child I ap-peared
                              D
A little bit wild with all my cra-zy ideas
But I knew what was happening
       G
I knew I was a genius
D B
What’s so strange when you know
              Em
That you’re a wiz-ard at three?
A D Bm Em
I knew that this was meant to be

A D
  Now I heard little children
         G
Were sup-posed to sleep tight
D
That’s why I got into the vodka one night
   G
My parents got frantic, didn’t know what to do
      D
But I saw some crazy scenes before I came to
B Em
Now do you think I was crazy?
A D Bm Em
I may have been only three but I was swingin’

A D
They all laughed at A. Graham Bell
G
  They all laughed at Edison
    D
And also at Einstein
                                   G
So why should I feel sorry if they just couldn’t understand
                              D
The idiomatic logic that went on in my head?

               B
I had a brain, it was insane
   Em
Oh, they used to laugh at me
     A D B
When I refused to ride on all those double-decker buses
       Em A D G A B Em
All be-cause there was no dri-ver at the top

A D G
My analyst told me that I was right out of my head
                  D
But I said, “Dear doc-tor, I think that it’s you instead
         G
Because I have got a thing that’s unique and new
   D B
To prove it I’ll have the last laugh on you
          Em A D
‘Cause in-stead of one head, I got two
And you know two heads are better than one”

I think that there are two items with which I slightly disagree:

1) I think A Graham Bell is actually Angry Young Men.

In the verse...Well I heard little children were supposed to sleep tight, I think the 1st G9 is omitted and the D7 / D9 carries on until .....my parents got frantic. However, great job and in the actual key.

This is correct - the lyric is "A. Graham Bell"

It's "Angry young men." I sing this song every saturday night on stage. Such a blast, too. Love the challenge.
Eveything else looks great though. Good job!
