Am D G C C/Am Am
We buried a seed underneath the ground
              D G C C/Am Am
We waited to see if the rain would come down
                 D
Tell me it's a good start
      G
I'm a good heart
    C C/Am Am
And this might turn us back around
                 D
Tell me that the rain will fall
                  G
That this garden wall
     C C/Am Am D G C C/Am
Will see us grow up out the ground

Am D G C C/Am Am
We watched as the seasons came and passed
                     D G C C/Am Am
Autumn, winter, and spring: still the drought outlasted us
                 D
Tell me it was a good start
            G
I'm still a good heart
       C C/Am Am
Though I couldn't grow us a flower
                 D
I can't make the rain fall
       G
Or the trees tall
    C C/Am Am D
Any more than what's yours could be ours
       G C C/Am Am
You're not ours

                    Em G D
Oh, there's no more reason to wait
                    G Em D
Oh, there's no more reason to wait
                    C G D
Oh, there's no more reason to wait
                                  D
Oh, there's no more reason to wait

Am Bm G C C/Am Am
Tell me there's a garden where my flowers will grow
Am Bm G
Maybe then all my starting will keep going,
C CAm Am
oh I hope so

Agreed,no capo on the studio version. On the D chord, she plays a G flat on the E string and I don't think there is any Bm but that modified D chord. I also didn't hear any Em chord in the last part. It sounds like it should still be Am. Thanks for posting this. Such a great song

No capo on first w/ studio version -- otherwise, accurate!
