D A Bm G
Wish I could write songs about anything other than death
D A Bm G
I can't go to bed without trying the red, shaving off the breaths
            D A
Each one so heavy, each one so cumbersome
           Bm G
Each one a lead weight hanging between my lungs
Spilling my guts
           A Bm
Sweat on a microphone breaking my voice
         G D
Whenever I'm alone with you, can't talk
           A Bm
Isn't this weather nice? Are you okay?
                G D
Should I go somewhere else and lie on my face?
         A Bm
Sprinter, learning to wait
         G D A Bm
Marathon runner, my ankles are sprained
         G D
Marathon runner, my ankles are sprained

Well, chords are D Bm Em G. First bass note is D then B which is the 2nd of A major.Third bass note is E which is the 4th of Bm. It doesn't work when you take on your bass note the 2nd or the 4th of each chord.

Check out the 3rd version.
